We tend to not be fully present for a large majority of our lives, and the costs that this has on our health, mind, relationships, and productivity can be harmful. This is changeable. This training’s purpose is to provide a general understanding of mindfulness and mindlessness. It will also provide insight and instruction into incorporating mindfulness into one’s daily life.

This course can be used with almost any population who can read and understand the concepts. It can be used in most settings, including the home, school, work, and clinical. The goal is to improve one’s overall life and experiences. Mindfulness can truly make the impossible, possible.

After this course, participants will:

1. Understand the concept of mindfulness and its importance and benefits
2. Understand the different types of mindlessness that one experiences daily
3. Understand how mindfulness can affect and change the brain and behavior
4. Learn how to practice mindfulness in one's everyday life, through an array of different options that can be altered to meet one's specific needs and lifestyle
