Did you know that the rhetoric of “being gay is new” is actually hugely inaccurate? The rich and wonderful LGBTQ+ community has been around for thousands of years.

Confront your own heteronormativity (we’ll define that word soon)! In this one-hour online course, you will learn about the LGBTQ+ community: its myths, histories and stigmas, but most importantly, you will learn how to talk to children and youth in an inclusive way, to encourage acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.

This course includes a mixture of videos, slides, and articles. Once you complete the course, you will be emailed a 1-hour professional development certificate and still have access to the course materials for up to one year after you enroll.
